(ConservativeFreePress.com) – Conservative commentator Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) blasted President Joe Biden regarding his latest comments about Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), who is a Bronze Star army veteran. In her comments, she stated that she hoped to see the Democrats attack Biden as much as they have attacked former President Donald Trump in the past when it comes to comments about army veterans.
In the past, McCain has also slammed Trump for the remarks he had made against her father. On Wednesday in her post on X she pointed out that regardless of which President did it, it was “disgusting and unpatriotic” seeing them disrespecting veterans.
The post came after Tuesday’s report from Puck News where there was information about an altercation between Biden and Crow during a call on Saturday between the President and moderate Democrats. The call was focused on the concerns expressed by lawmakers about Biden’s possible inability to secure a second term in office, which could also have an effect on the reelection attempts of Congressional Democrats. Many Democrats have been pushing for Biden to drop out of the presidential race.
Previously, a source had described the call as being “tense” and noted that the most notable moment related to the exchange between Crow and Biden, which had reportedly been taught to watch.
Crow had received a Bronze Star for his role during the invasion of Iraq. Beau Biden, the President’s son, had also received a Bronze Star for his service in Iraq.
