(ConservativeFreePress.com) – A former Clinton adviser predicts President Joe Biden will “be out of the race within a couple of weeks.”
In an appearance on Fox News’ “The Faulkner Focus,” Doug Schoen, an ex-advisor to former President Bill Clinton, Doug Schoen, revealed President Joe Biden could have “no choice” but to abandon his reelection bid as the Democratic Party worries about his electability.
In the interview Wednesday, Schoen revealed that if the “Democratic establishment, the congressional leadership,” the party’s leadership like former Presidents Barack Obama and Clinton, as well as the grassroots, say Biden is up for the job, whether publicly or privately, Biden would be forced to drop out.
Schoen added that everything he is “seeing now” suggests that the tide within the Democratic Party is quickly turning against Biden.
Schoen also noted that if Democrats in swing states turned on Biden, it would be “impossible” for Biden to remain in the race. He added that if “cognitive issues appear” similarly to how they did while Biden debated Trump, Biden “will be out of the race within a couple of weeks.”
Also on Wednesday, the New York Times released a report relaying that Biden had told a “key ally” that he might lose his reelection bid if, in the coming days, he is unable to convince American voters he is fit enough to serve following his abysmal debate performance.
However, those claims were quickly disputed by a White House spokesperson who called the information in the report “absolutely false.”
Since last Thursday’s debate, Biden, 81, has faced the roughest period in his reelection bid, highlighted by calls from pundits, lawmakers, and party donors for the President to step aside and allow someone else to take the wheel. Left-leaning editorial writers have also added to the calls with lengthy pieces detailing why Biden should step aside.
