(ConservativeFreePress.com) – In an interview on Fox News, 2024 GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley stated that the United States should cautiously view the return of two American hostages by Hamas on Friday and that the Palestinian militant group was only attempting to “earn favor” with the U.S. He also warned that the Biden administration needed to act “smart” and not weaken its stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Haley stated that she was going to say two things regarding the return. The first is that while two of their prayers have been answered there are still 200 prayers that remain unanswered. She further warned the Biden administration to not fall for this trick.
On Friday, President Biden had reported that they had secured the release of two hostages by Hamas who had been taken on Oct. 7 during the group’s attack against Israel. The two Americans have been identified by the government of Israel as Judith Raanan and Natalie Raanan, her daughter.
Haley, who had previously served as the U.S. ambassador to the United States, argued that this was what Hamas did and that they were only attempting to “earn favor” with the U.S. She added that Hamas was worried about Israel launching a ground attack against Gaza and that Iran was worried about Israel not winning the war. This is why they released the two hostages so that they could determine whether this would weaken the United States’ support for Israel.
Haley added that this was the time for the administration to be “smart” and that there were another 200 hostages.
